Hello Cub Leaders,
I can't believe summer is almost over. Time flies when you are having fun. It's about that time of year to start planning for fall recruitment.
Below is some important info you need to know about.
1. If you haven't looked yet, check out the materials in the Cub Scout Recruitment in a Box. If you didn't get a box yet, contact your District Executive to get your recruitment box.
2. Most of the Council marketing will be done around the www.BeAScout.org website. BeAScout.org is a Google maps program that gives your pack a pin so prospective families can find the nearest pack to their house. You need to keep the information current. To do that follow the directions here http://www.cnjcscouting.org/program/beascout-org-maintenance/
3. To order recruitment materials like flyers, posters, yard signs, etc. please go to this link http://www.cnjcscouting.org/index.php/download_file/458/301/ and fill out the order form and email to kathy.brooks@scouting.org. These are all FREE thanks to Friends of Scouting!
4. Please answer the following questions in an email to your District Executive as soon as you can:

Who is your Pack Fall Recruitment Chair?
What is their email address?
What is their phone number?
What school(s) do you recruit boys out of?
When and where is your pack having a new family sign up night (the night the families will fill out applications for their son's)?
How will this night be advertised by the Pack?
Do you request help from the District Membership Committee for that night?
What is your goal for NEW Scouts?
Any other comments about Fall Recruitment?
