Internet Advancement

Process ranks and awards for packs, troops, crews, and ships!

Use Internet Advancement for the following:

  • Add ranks, merit badges, Eagle Palms, and awards.
  • Check unit’s roster to verify currently registered members.

To use Internet Advancement for ranks, awards, and advancements:

  1. Scoutmasters, Cubmasters, Committee Chairs, and Chartered Organization Representatives have direct access to their unit through Internet Advancement.
  2. You must have internet connectivity and use an updated browser.
  3. Obtain the Unit ID number from your council Registrar.
  4. Gather information for advancement, including merit badge blue cards with all signatures, and advancement records with dates. Follow the instructions in Internet Advancement and register as a new user or login as a returning user.
  5. Download and review the unit roster.
  6. Process advancements, submit the report to council, and print the advancement report.
  7. Have the appropriate people sign the printed advancement report, make copies, and bring the copies to the scout shop to purchase your awards. You will be asked to leave a copy at the scout shop where it is then picked up by council and filed. In December, submit a report before the end of the year to update unit and council statistics.

To use Internet Advancement to check your roster:

  1. Scoutmasters, Cubmasters, Committee Chairs, and Chartered Organization Representatives have direct access to their unit through Internet Advancement.

  3. Obtain the Unit ID number from your council Registrar.
  4. Follow the instructions in Internet Advancement and download the roster.
  5. Click on View Unit Roster.
